Weslaco-Alejandro Avila, 75, entered eternal rest Sunday, August 31, 2019 in Mercedes, Texas surrounded by his family. Alejandro is survived by his wife, Guillermina Avila; five children, Irene Avila, Alejandro Avila Jr., Brenda (Exson) Sanchez, Anthony (Maria) Hernandez, Narciso (Mayra) Hernandez; two grandchildren, David Alexis Sanchez, Leon Hernandez; five siblings , Manuela Avila, Juan Avila, David Avila, Ofelia Avila, Angela Avila; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Avila was preceded in death by his mother and father Jesus and Rosa Avila.
A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg, Tx. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral services are under the directions of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
