Alicia Martinez

SAN JUAN - Alicia Martinez, 78, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in McAllen. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Amalia Rocha; five siblings, Guadalupe Guerra, Consuelo Gonzalez, David Rocha, Victor Rocha, and Gloria Rodriguez; a son-in-law, Jose Angel Molina.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Casimiro Martinez; six children, Leticia Molina, Teresa Chavaria, Belinda (Carlos) Rodriguez, Fernando (Maveli) Martinez, Robert (Cristina) Martinez, and Alicia (Ever) Martinez; numerous grandchildren; five siblings, Ruben Rocha, Juan Rocha, Janie Cortez, Linda Barajas, and Estella Vasquez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
