MCALLEN - Alonzo Cruz Jr, 59, entered eternal rest Saturday, April 11, 2026, in McAllen. Mr. Cruz is preceded in death by his mother, Amalia McDaniel.
Mr. Alonzo is survived by his loving wife, Nataly Cruz ; four children, Sophia, Sarah, Emma Cruz, and Jeffrey Zamarron; ten grandchildren; his father, Alonzo Cruz Sr.; two siblings Ricardo and Zelda Cruz.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with a 3 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
