NEW BRAUNFELS - Alvaro Moreno Salinas, 95, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in New Braunfels. Mr. Moreno was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio Moreno, and Maria Salinas de Moreno.
Mr. Moreno is survived by his spouse, Maria Severa Moreno; two children, Clarissa Moreno, and Alvaro Moreno II; five grandchildren, Frida Victoria Moreno, Daniela Alessandra Moreno, Natalia Monserrat Moreno, Alvaro Sebastian Moreno, and Sofia Clarisse Martinez; sister, Idalia Moreno; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 11:30 a.m. rosary service on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
