APOLONO S. SOTELO
MISSION - Apolonio S. Sotelo, 91, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in Edinburg. Mr. Sotelo proudly served his country in the United State Army was was a proud WW II Veteran. Mr. Sotelo was preceded in death by his parents, Mauro and Genoveva Sotelo; four brothers, Valentino, Maximo, Francisco, and Valentino Sotelo; three sisters, Manuela Sotelo Rodriguez, Cruz Sotelo, and Elidia Sotelo Chapa.
Mr. Sotelo is survived by his daughter, Dora Sotelo; his grandson, Jesus Noel Sotelo; a sister, Lorenza Samora; numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marfa, Texas, with a 11 a.m. funeral mass to follow. Inurnment of his cremated remains will follow at Merced Cemetery with full military honors.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
