Aunesty, our beautiful daughter, you fought cancer with a strength and courage that inspired everyone who knew you. For three long years, you faced battles that no 17-year-old should ever have had to endure, yet you continued to show kindness and love. You were one of the sweetest and kindest souls God ever placed in our lives. Even through your hardest days, you had a way of bringing comfort, love, and light to the people around you. Your smile, your laughter, and your gentle heart will forever be a part of who we are. Cancer may have taken your body from us, but it could never take the beautiful spirit that made you Aunesty.

You taught us that true strength isn’t always about being strong enough to never cry; sometimes it’s about finding the courage to keep going despite the tears. You showed us what bravery, faith, and unconditional love look like. We wish we could have protected you from every pain, taken every treatment, and fought every battle for you. But we are forever grateful that God chose us to be your parents and gave us 17 precious years with you.

Although our hearts are broken beyond words, we will carry your memory with us every day until the day we see you again. We promise to speak your name, share your story, and never let the world forget the beautiful person you were. Your life was far too short, but the love you gave us will last forever.

Rest peacefully, our sweet Aunesty, knowing that you were deeply loved, incredibly cherished, and never alone.

Until we meet again, our precious daughter, you will forever be our little girl, and one of our greatest blessings of our lives.

Aunesty is survived by her parents, Joe M. Garcia Jr., and Martha A. Garcia; two siblings, Jionni Ree Garcia, and Jaxilani Cora Garcia; paternal grandparents, Joe M. Garcia Sr., and Cynthia Obregon; maternal grandparents, Martin and Beatriz Sandoval; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Visitation will continue at 3 p.m. with a 6 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Templo Mission De Salvacion 500 West Expressway 83 in Sullivan. Interment will follow at Sullivan City Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
