Christine Audryna Fontana

EDINBURG - Christine Audryna Fontana, 14, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Christine was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Christine Zavala.

Our beautiful loving daughter, Christine Audryna Fontana. She was the happiest soul you could ever meet, always had a smile on her face. Since she was a little girl, that happiness never went away. She was compassionate, adventurous, empowering, bubbly; The light in everyone’s life. Christine was absolutely a character, lighting up every room she entered with her kindness & laughter. She loved making everyone laugh and cared with all her heart. She was genuinely a loving person with such a huge heart. Christine was in love with the sport of soccer, a natural on the field. When she wasn’t pouring her heart out on the field, she would sing her heart out. In choir her voice was warm and comforting. Christine loved with all her heart and soul. The love she gave impacted so many people and will continue too. A beautiful soul will never be forgotten, always remembered with great love.

Christine is survived by her parents, Izaq (Krystal) Fontana, and Samantha Zavala; two brothers, James Elias Fontana, and Logan Atlas Fontana; paternal grandparents, Thomas James Fontana, and Norma Laura (Edmundo) Mendez; maternal grandfather, Ruben Zavala; three uncles, Jared Mendez, and Josiah (Marissa) Mendez, Mykel Zavala; three aunts, Trinity (Edward) Fontana, Lilly Fontana, and Taylor Zavala; thirty five cousins, Bianka, Dominic, Allyson, Sean, Endrek, Adalyne, Jayce, Rebecca, Beau, Eric, Valentina, Jeremiah, Zienna, Auzyne, Geronimo, Arianny, Dominick, Erin, Cesar, Claudia, Petra, Rosalino, Aubrey, Amerie, Avery, Connor, Calee, Levi, Ella, Rick, Christian, Rick Jr., Carlos, Jennifer, and Stevie; numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 noon Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
