Claudio "Jerry" Gerardo Garza

MCALLEN - Claudio "Jerry" Gerardo Garza, 60, entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his parents, Claudio V. Garza, and Evangelina G. Garza.

Mr. Garza is survived by his two siblings, Martha I. Garza, and Jose M. (Nancy) Garza; two nephews, Joseph and Larry ; two nieces, Alyssia and Aleena, as well as many beloved cousins.

Jerry was primary caretaker to his parents in their latter years. He extended a helping hand to friends, neighbors and relatives and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday August 20, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at  10 a.m. Thursday August 21, 2025, at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 900 South 23rd Street in Mcallen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in Mcallen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
