EDINBURG – Consuelo Rodríguez, de 98 años, pasó a mejor vida el Miércoles 17 de Junio de 2026 en Edinburg. Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo, Domingo Rodríguez, y sus padres, Felipe Pérez y Clara Vega.

A la Sra. Rodríguez le sobreviven sus seis hijos: Filimon (María Luisa) Rodríguez, Rosa (Rafael) Carrillo, Celia (Pedro) Guzmán, Juana (Bernardo) Vieyra, Domingo (Josefina) Rodríguez y María de Jesús (Rafael) Castillo; así como veintiocho nietos, numerosos bisnietos y numerosos sobrinos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el Domingo 21 de Junio de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., con el rezo del rosario a las 7:00 p. m., en Legacy Chapels, ubicado en 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg. La misa de funeral se celebrará el Lunes 22 de Junio de 2026 a las 10:00 a. m. en la iglesia católica Sacred Heart (Sagrado Corazón), situada en 501 E. Kuhn St., Edinburg. El sepelio tendrá lugar posteriormente en el cementerio Hillcrest Memorial Park de Edinburg.

Los servicios funerarios están a cargo de Legacy Chapels en Edinburg.

EDINBURG- Consuelo Rodriguez, 98, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Edinburg. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Rodriguez; parents, Felipe Perez and Clara Vega.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her six children, Filimon (Maria Luisa) Rodriguez, Rosa (Rafael) Carrillo, Celia (Pedro) Guzman, Juana (Bernardo) Vieyra, Domingo (Josefina) Rodriguez, and Maria de Jesus(Rafael) Castillo; twenty eight grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 501 E. Kuhn St. in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
