Mr. Avila is survived by his six children,  Leopoldo Avila, Adrian Avila, Francisco David Avila, Delma Rene Avila, Liliana Danielle Avila, and Leonardo Emmanuel Avila.; parents, David Avila, and Maria Anita Puente; two siblings, Brenda Avila, and Daniel Avila; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass will be at 10 a.m. July 30, 2026, at St. Jude Thaddeus Roman Catholic Church in Pharr. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary  on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
