Edgar Monroy

PHARR - Edgar Monroy, de 71 años, partió para reunirse con nuestro Señor el miércoles 19 de agosto de 2026 en Pharr. Al Sr. Monroy le precedió en la muerte su padre, Pedro Monroy.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Guadalupe Romo Monroy; sus tres hijos: Susan (Juan) Reyes, Joe E. Monroy y Ricardo Ainej Monroy; sus tres nietas: Naomie Reyes, Nailah Reyes y Nashly Reyes; su madre, Malhver O'Brien; sus cuatro hermanos: Aide Monroy, Marla Monroy, Arturo Monroy y Lizeth Monroy; así como numerosos sobrinos.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el sábado 22 de agosto de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 p. m., en Legacy Chapels, ubicado en 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg.

Los servicios funerarios están a cargo de Legacy Chapels en Edinburg.

PHARR - Edgar Monroy, 71, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in Pharr. Mr. Monroy was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Monroy.

Mr. Monroy is survived by his spouse, Gudalupe Romo Monroy; three children, Susan, (Juan) Reyes, Joe E. Monroy, and Ricardo Ainej Monroy; three grandchildren, Naomie Reyes, Nailah Reyes, and Nashly Reyes; mother, Malhver O' brien; four sibliings, Aide Monroy, Marla Monroy, Arturo Monroy, and Lizeth Monroy; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
