Elisa Reyes

SAN JUAN- Elisa Reyes, 88, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in San Juan. Mrs. Reyes was preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Reyes; one daughter, Sonia R. Palomin; parents, Severo Rodriguez Guerra, and Petra Chavez Chavez; two siblings, Cristina Rodriguez Chavez, and Francisco Rodriguez Chavez.

Mrs. Reyes is survived by her seven children, Fernando Reyes Jr., Sandra Reyes, Susana R. Martinez, Elisa Maria Guajardo, Marco Antonio Reyes, Patricia Reyes, and Maria Ester Reyes; thirteen grandchildren, Ritta M. Reyes, Pedro Palomin, Bianca Palomin, Jennifer Sustarich, Michelle Quintero, Jose Carlos Alvarado, Miguel Alejandro Reyes, Vanessa K. Liserio, Julian Andres Reyes, Derek Brisenio, Stephanie Munoz, Jennifer Briseno, and Glenda Guajardo; four great grandchildren; four siblings, Carlota Rodriguez Chavez, Santos Rodriguez Chavez, Maria De Jesus Rodriguez Chavez, and Concepcion Rodriguez Chavez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2026 at St. John the Baptist in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
