Elizabeth Rodriguez

MCALLEN - Elizabeth Rodriguez, 91, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 in McAllen. Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her spouse, Jose R. Rodriguez; two children, Ramiro (Jeanie) De Anda, and Rodolfo (Rosa) Rodriguez; parents, Antonio De Anda, and Maria Guadalupe Berlanga; four siblings, Joel De Anda, Esther De Anda, Jose Able De Anda, and Noe De Anda.

Mrs. Rodriugez is survived by her seven children, Rosalinda (Rolando Navarro) Rodriguez, Ruby Ann Rodriugez, Rolando (Martha) Rodriguez, Ruth (Carlos) Alejandro, Raquel (Michael) Merrill, Rebecca Cammack, and Roberto (Gabriella) Rodriguez; thirty grandchildren, Thomas Andrew De Anda, Robert Michael De Anda, Danell Ceballos, Rosa Elizabeth Rodriguez-Garcia, Rudy Rodriguez, Rogelio Rodriguez, Regina Rodriguez, Robin Garcia, Merceds Cano, Rosa La Rie Croeser, Peter Legrand Magadan, Jared De Aragon, Joshua Rodriguez, Jason Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez, Jacqueline Rodriguez, Rameses Alejandro, Jorge Alejandro, Alexandria Mitchell, Jourdan Taylor, Tyra Taylor, Ziel Trey Salinas, Michael Hunter Salinas, Angel Claudio, Rebekah Claudio, Pablo Huerta, and Robert Anthony Rodriguez; thirty-three great grandchildren; eight siblings, Antonio De Anda, Luis De Anda, Maria Duran, David De Anda, Hector De Anda, Rosa Guadalupe Salinas, Raul De Anda, and Oralia Fowler; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life, Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, October 19, 20206, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund in her memory.
