Elva Cavazos De Andaverde

PHARR - Elva Andaverde, 68, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 8, 2026, in McAllen. Mrs. Andaverde was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Andaverde.

Mrs. Andaverde is survived by her six children, Andres Andaverde Jr., Laura Leticia A. Contreras, Susana A. Alvarez, Maribel A. Rodriguez, Fernando Andaverde, and Jose Alejandro Andaverde; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, Benita Palacios, Guadalupe Cavazos, Merced Cavazos, and Idalia Gaytan.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
