Erika Guzman, born on April 1, 1994, passed away on February 4, 2026. Erika was a vibrant and creative soul whose imagination never rested. She loved creating art, always dreaming up new ideas and bringing beauty into the world through her hands and heart.

Erika’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She adored her two beautiful daughters, Thalia Aro and Suren Guzman, who were the light of her life.

She is deeply loved and remembered by her mother, Oneida Cantu, and her father, Rogelio Cantu; her brother, Rogelio Cantu Jr., and her sister, Nylene Rivas; and her husband, Michael Aro. She is also survived by her grandparents, Jose A. Guzman and Consuelo Guzman, as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Erika’s creativity, kindness, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, imagination, and devotion to her family.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg
