Ernesto Mercado

Houston - Ernesto Mercado, 49, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 7, 2025. Mr. Mercado is preceded in death by his father, Rosalio Mercado.

Mr. Mercado is survived by his wife, Virginia Ramirez; three step children, Leo Hernandez, Noe Mireles, and Leyla Mireles; three grandchildren, Liam Hernadez, Ariel Hernandez, and Andrea Hernandez; his mother Cynthia Mercado, numerous family and friends.

Mr. Mercado hobbies were dancing, drawing and listening to the oldies and Tejano Music.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to  8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
