Ernesto C. Rodriguez

SAN JUAN - Ernesto C. Rodriguez, 76, went to be with our Lord on Thursday August 7, 2025, in San Juan surrounded by his family. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Rodriguez; his son, Jesus Garcia; a grandson, Santos Ernesto Morales;  parents, Jorge and Micaela Rodriguez; three siblings, Isidra Hernandez, Homero Rodriguez, and Bertha Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Mendiola and Sarah Rodriguez; three grandchildren; Priscilla Y. Morales, Jose A. Morales Jr., Alejandro D. Esqueda; a great-granddaughter, Vayda R. Puente;  six siblings, Esperanza Martinez, Gilberto Rodriguez, Raquel Salazar, David Rodriguez, Simona Salazar, and Hector Rodriguez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
