Estela Vela Villarreal

SAN JUAN - Estela Vela Villarreal, 82, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 5, 2025, in McAllen. Mrs. Villarreal was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Villarreal; parents, Fidel Vela and Guadalupe Saenz; two siblings, Hector (Joe) Vela and Efrain Vela.

Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her two children, Elizabeth (Alex) Arredondo and Christina (Jessie) Flores; seven grandchildren, Azriel (Lynn) Arredondo, Zayed Arredondo, Aaron (America) Villarreal, Gabriela Flores, Karyssa Flores, Kaylee Flores, and Austin Flores; four great grandchildren, Arabella Villarreal, Alaina Grace Villarreal, Avery Villarreal, and Carter Arredondo; one sibling, Edgar Vela; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a 1 p.m. prayer service, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
