Eva Lopez

HARGILL - Eva Lopez, 73, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2024 in Edinburg. Ms. Lopez was preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto Lopez and Maria Elva Becerra Lopez; her brother-in-law, Alfredo “Freddy” Trevino Sr. 

Eva was a devoted sister and aunt. She provided support and love to all her family. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by those she loved whom will miss her dearly. Eva’s family would like to thank the staff at DHR Hospice Center for the loving care provided to her on her final days. They would also like to thank all the love and support received.

Ms. Lopez is survived by her 10 siblings, Daniel (Janie) Lopez, Oralia (Rey) Cortez, Gilberto (Irene) Lopez Jr., Homero (Frances) Lopez, Alfredo (Christina) Lopez, Maria Guadalupe (Javier) Hernandez, Elva Nora (Francisco) Martinez, Yolanda Trevino, Miguel (Sandy) Lopez and Carlos Omar (Cindi) Lopez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service, Monday, February 5, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Inurnment of her cremated remains will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Valle De La Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Tx.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
