FLORENTINO PEREZ

EDINBURG-Florentino Perez, 60, fell asleep in death on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Mr. Perez was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio C and Maria M Perez; brother, Lino Perez; niece, Sheila Jane Perez.

Florentino Perez embraced life, he loved being around friends and family. He especially loved his mom! Always showering her with hugs and kisses! They both shared the love of plants and gardening. He was an animal lover and was often sharing funny pet stories. He was an excellent storyteller mostly cuz he loved to read. He loved reading God's word the Bible on a daily basis. He would often share verses with others. He was always trying to advance his education. He loved his job and enjoyed working for his boss Ruben. Although that was on hold at his time of death- he was so looking forward to continuing. He was very smart, creative and artistic as well as enjoyed listening to music and also singing the lyrics. We will all MISS him GREATLY!!!

Mr. Perez is survived by nine siblings, Juanita P. Rodriguez, Ignacio M Perez,  Rose Patino , Victoria Randle, Martin Perez, Quirino Perez, Mario Angel Perez, Mary Lou Colunga and Rene Perez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with 7 p.m. celebration of life, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
