Francisca "Panchita" Palacios

EDINBURG - Francisca "Panchita" Palacios, 88, went to be with our Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025, in Edinburg. Mrs. Palacios was preceded in death by her husband, Susano Palacios; her daughter, Juanita Palacios; her parents, Zenaido and Gabina Benitez.

Mrs. Palacios is survived by her ten children, Guillermo (Guadalupe) Palacios, Armando (Juana) Palacios, Rosa (Anatolio) Lopez, Martha (Guadalupe) Pineda, Leticia (Jose) Salazar, Alfredo (Elena) Palacios, Norma (Chris) Ascherfeld, Nora Palacios, Gustavo (Angela) Palacios, Angie (Mario) Villagomez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three siblings, Eustacio Benitez, Maria Benitez, and Martha Benitez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
