FRANCISCO PEGUERO EDINBURG - With profound sadness we announce the passing of Francisco Peguero, our loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who took the time to know him. He left us to join the love of his life, our mother Emilia Peguero. He was 90 years old and had been living in Edinburg, TX for 34 years after moving from Laredo, TX in 1986. Francisco was preceded in death by his wife, Emilia Peguero; his daughter, Maria De Jesus Peguero and granddaughter, Christabel Isabel Villasenor. Francisco loved spending time with his family, fishing, BBQing and trips to the flea market. He loved to sing made-up songs on the spot. He had a great voice. He enjoyed buying flowers for the love of his life, his wife of 60 years. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. REST EASY DADDY! Mr. Peguero is survived by his children, Rosa Maria Peguero, Maria Luisa (Juan) Maldonado, Francisco Peguero, Margaret Peguero, Susana (Jose) Chavarria, Juan (Rosa Amelia) Peguero, Isabel (Joselito) Hernandez and Emilia (Ruben) Villarreal; 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; his sister Maria Elena Snyder; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
