Gilberto Garza

MCALLEN - Gilberto Garza, 71, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in McAllen surrounded by his family. Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Garza; his parents, Jose Garza, and Blazita Rodriguez Garza; siblings, Consuelo Quintanilla, Eleazar Garza, Rodolfo Garza, and Americo Garza.

Mr. Garza is survived by his siblings, Celia (Javier) Porras, Elisa (Claudio) Perez, Rosalinda Garza, Jose (Rosa) Garza, Oscar (Frances) Garza, Hector Garza, Rogelio Garza, and Eduardo Garza; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a 2 p.m. Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Inurnment of his cremated remains will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
