Gregorio Granados Jr.

One word to best describe Gregorio Granados Jr. is community. Greg loved his community and did everything he could to engage and volunteer through church and school-related functions. One ministry that he proudly served in was Ground Zero Ministries. He made sure every teen had a ride to attend youth group on Friday nights to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. He was also his kids biggest supporter for their school youth rally events. 

Greg worked as a crossing guard for PSJA ISD for over 20 years at various elementary schools. Regardless of his occupation, he diligently shared the gospel with parents and kids he would see every single day and made sure every one of them received an invitation to church. Greg will be remembered by countless friends he made through his life.

 

Proceeded in death by his parents Francisca Medellin Granados, Gregorio Granados Sr. and brother Roberto Granados. He is survived by his three brothers Juan, Hector, Alejandro and two sisters Maria and Rosa. He is survived by his children April, Abigail, Andrew Granados and two stepsons Nery and Sabu Macias. 

 

Celebration of Life will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
