MCALLEN - Guillermina Ortiz, 69, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Mrs. Ortiz is preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin Gallardo and Mariana Lucio; 1 grand daughter, Jazmine Ortiz. 

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her husband, Mario Fernando Ortiz; 5 children, Mario Fernando Jr. (Yvette), Jorge Eduardo (Sarah), Luis Armando (Debra), Josue Angel (Ale Cepeda) and Perla Del Carmen (Alex Ramos) Ortiz; 19 grandchildren, Mia Ortiz, Daniela Ortiz, Alexa Ortiz, Sophia Ortiz, Maci Falbe, Luis Ortiz Jr., Daniel Ortiz, Yaretzy Ortiz, Brisa Ortiz, Mya Ortiz, Ariana Ortiz, Jorge Ortiz Jr., Jullian Ramos, Genesis Ortiz, Josue Ortiz Jr., Mateo Ortiz, Sophia Dominguez, Eric Dominguez and Armani Ramos; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a 1 p.m. Celebration of Life, Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment to be followed at La Piedad Cemetery in Mcallen.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
