Hector A. Cano

PHARR - Hector A. Cano, 86, entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024 in McAllen. Mr. Cano is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel S. and Herminia A. Cano; three siblings, Ofilia Cepeda, Glafira Cantu, Erico Cano, 

Mr. Cano is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Cano; four children, Hector (Yolanda) Cano, Irasema (Pablo) Pecina, Herminia (Daniel) Ramos and Maveli (Fernando) Martinez; eleven grandchildren, Layza, Nadia, Dayana, Pablo, Deyra, Hector, Jezuel, Jetzael, Karyna, Yaneli and Elian; six great-grandchildren, Emmie, Jose Carlos Jr., Tomas, Alianna, Ainhoa and Nuvia; five siblings, Arnulfo Cano, Egla Rodriguez, Elvia Maldonado, Elia Munoz;  numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
