Hector Rodriguez

EDINBURG - Hector Rodriguez, 94, went to be with our Lord on Friday March 27, 2026, in Edinburg. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by three children, Jesus Martinez, Socorro Castillo, and Hector Rodriguez Jr.; his parents, Leandro and Longina Rodriguez.  

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife, Soledad Rodriguez; two children, Irene Vasquez and Liandro (Estella) Rodriguez; nine grandchildren, Estevan Jr., Stephanie, Ashley, Israel, Oscar, Iesha, Tyra, Melanie and Maya; numerous great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday March 29, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday March 30, 2026, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Cremation will follow after funeral mass. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
