Herbey Solis

MCALLEN - Herbey Solis, 77, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Mr. Solis is preceded in death by his parents, Abel Solis and Carmen Solis; his son, Herbey Solis Jr.; 2 siblings, Esbin and Hernan Solis; grandson, Aaron Zapata; brother in law, Perdro Mora. 

Mr. Solis is survived by his wife, Ma. Elena Solis; 7 children, Elma (Nemesio) Zapata, Adolfo (Oscar) Reyna-Flores, Gerardo (Brenda) Flores, Roberto (Emma) Solis, Diana Solis, Sylvia Solis and Javier Solis; 7 siblings, Efrain (Laura) Solis, Sandra Mora, Eliazar (Aurora) Solis, Susana (Manuel) Guevara, Carmen (Johnny Jr.) Menchaca, Abel (Lorisa) Solis Jr. Hector (Mary) Solis; 2 sister in laws, Ofelia Solis and Enedelia Solis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday July 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
