PALMHURST - Homero Hugo Rivera, de 62 años, falleció el jueves 4 de septiembre de 2025. Sus padres, Rigoberto Rivera y Oralia Rodríguez, le precedieron en la muerte.

Le sobreviven sus tres hijos: Romero Hugo Jr., Elvia Rivera Cantú y Kendra Rivera; sus cinco hermanos: Rigoberto Rivera, Luis Rivera, Jorge Rivera, Elida Rivera y Héctor Ebalio Rivera; y sus numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.

El velatorio se realizará de 5 p.m. a 9 p.m., con un servicio de oración a las 7 p.m. el lunes 8 de septiembre de 2025 en Legacy Chapels, 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg. El servicio religioso será a las 2 p.m. el martes 9 de septiembre de 2025 en Legacy Chapels. El entierro se realizará posteriormente en Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission.

Los servicios funerarios estarán a cargo de Legacy Chapels en Edinburg.

PALMHURST - Homero Hugo Rivera, 62, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Mr. Rivera was preceded in death by his parents, Rigoberto Rivera and Oralia Rodriguez.

Mr. Rivera is survived by three children, Romero Hugo Jr., Elvia Rivera Cantu, and Kendra Rivera; five siblings, Rigoberto Rivera, Luis Rivera, Jorge Rivera, Elida Rivera, and Hector Ebalio Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, September 8, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
