PHARR - Ismael Guerra, Jr., 78, went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Edinburg. Mr. Guerra was preceded in death by one child, Felix De La Cruz; parents, Ismael Guerra, Sr., and Esther Moreno; sister, Herminia Guerra; brothers, Rodolfo, Roberto, Juan Alberto, Raul, Armando and Ramiro Guerra, Harry and Billy Dryden

Mr. Guerra is survived by his wife, Concepcion Nuno De Guerra ; six children, Joe and Leticia Valencia, Mark and Erik Guerra, Mariela & Marcela De La Cruz; eight grandchildren, Sophia Guerra, Nayeli Prado, Juan, Jose, Abby, and Madison Guerra, Genisis, Zachary, and Jonathan Valencia; two siblings, Alisia Guerra, Carlos (Jennifer) Guerra, and Frances (Jimmy) Breazeale; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapels Service will be at 9:45 am on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.

PHARR - Ismael Guerra, Jr., de 78 años, partió para estar con nuestro Señor el lunes 10 de agosto de 2026, en Edinburg. Al Sr. Guerra le precedieron en la muerte un hijo, Felix De La Cruz; sus padres, Ismael Guerra, Sr. y Esther Moreno; su hermana, Herminia Guerra; sus hermanos, Rodolfo, Roberto, Juan Alberto, Raul, Armando y Ramiro Guerra, así como Harry y Billy Dryden.

Al Sr. Guerra le sobreviven su esposa, Concepcion Nuno De Guerra; seis hijos: Joe y Leticia Valencia, Mark y Erik Guerra, y Mariela y Marcela De La Cruz; ocho nietos: Sophia Guerra, Nayeli Prado, Juan, Jose, Abby y Madison Guerra, y Genisis, Zachary y Jonathan Valencia; tres hermanos: Alisia Guerra, Carlos (Jennifer) Guerra y Frances (Jimmy) Breazeale; además de numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el martes 18 de agosto de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 p. m., en Legacy Chapels, ubicado en 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg. El servicio en la capilla tendrá lugar el miércoles 19 de agosto de 2026 a las 9:45 a. m. en Legacy Chapels. Posteriormente, se realizará el sepelio en el cementerio estatal para veteranos Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, en Mission.
