MISSION - Janet Gaitan, 35, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Mission surrounded by her family.

Ms. Gaitan is survived by her husband, Juan Jose Salas; her children, Joshua Gaitan and Jayleen Olivarez; her parents, Jesus Gaitan Jr. and Rosa Maria Vasquez; four siblings, Jesus Gaitan III, Jackie Garcia, Jacob Gaitan, and Justin Gaitan; numerous uncels, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday, November 28, 2022, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Iglesia Bautista Devino in Mission. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
