EDINBURG - Jesus Hernandez Cruz, 63, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Edinburg. Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Reyna Hernandez; his brother, Abelardo Hernandez.

Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife, Nicolasa Zarate; four children, Ana (Orlando Covarrubias) Hernandez, Luz Hernandez, Felipe (Trini) Hernandez, and Michelle (Alex) Rosales; six grandchildren; five siblings, Minerva Hernandez, Maria Luisa Hernandez, Victorino Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, and Santos Hernandez; numeorus niecesa and nephews.  

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral service are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
