Joedy Cadena

MERCEDES - Joedy Cadena, 55, went to be with our Lord on Friday, October 16, 2026, in Edinburg. Joedy was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo "Lico" Cadena. Joedy enjoyed and had great passion for drawing. He really enjoyed spending time and caring four his four legged love, Harley. 

Joedy is survived by his mother, Irma Palacios Cadena; two siblings,  Anna Lisa Cadena, Nick Cadena; six nieces, Eliana Nino, Clarissa Gutierrez,  Alyssa Martinez, Angelina Rachael Fuentes, Isabella Cadena, and Natali Cadena; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
