EDINBURG Joel Gutierrez, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his five children, Mercy Flores, Francisco Flores Jr., Javier (Maribel) Gutierrez, Maria (Kevin) Smith and Nelda (Robert) Eason; 15 Grandchildren, Kendra L. Gracia-Uresti, Johnathan E. Gutierrez, Justin F. Flores, Giorgio G. Luna, Omar A. Pastoriza, Laura J. Flores, Javier J. Gutierrez, Jerenette A. Flores, Valerie M. Gutierez, Tatiana I. Smith, Javier Gutierrez Jr., Isabella A. Smith, Arabella S. Flores, Ian A. Eason, Aric A. Easson; a great-grandchild, Ocxavier O. Uresti. Visitation will be from 12noon to 6pm with a 4pm rosary today, April 24, 2015 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 3pm Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Legacy Chapels with visitation beging at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
