JOEL SALAZAR JR. EDINBURG - Joel Salazar Jr., 42, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 27, 2017, in Houston. Mr. Salazar is survived by his wife, Nancy Salazar; a son, Mark Anthony Salazar; a daughter, Alexys Araceli Salazar; his parents, Joel and San Juanita Salazar Sr.; three brothers, Miguel (Rosa) Salazar, Andres Salazar and Juan Salazar; seven sisters, Blanca (Jaime) Alcoser, Sujeyn (Lawrence) Fields, Paula (Francisco) Garcia, Jessica (Daisy Garcia) Salazar, Ruth (Andy) Yzaguirre, Lissette (Daniel) Barron and Paola Salazar; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
