MCALLEN - Jose Cruz Saenz, 64, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Mr. Saenz is preceded in death by his father, Primitivo Saenz.

Mr. Saenz is survived by his mother, Esther Garcia Saenz; his loving wife, Alma Elia Elizondo De Saenz; 3 children, Jose Cruz Saenz Jr., Andres Saenz and Cynthia Saenz; 9 grandchildren, Jose Emilio Saenz, Natalia Saenz, Cataleya Gudalupe Saenz, Briana Marie Saenz, Benito Saenz, Sergio Saenz, Daniel Mason Saenz, Adrian Rios and Damaris Rios; 7 siblings, Artemio Saenz, Primitivo Saenz Jr., Albino Saenz, Alfredo Saenz, Araceli De Luna, Rene Saenz and Eleazer Saenz; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
