Jose Maria Gil

MCALLEN - Jose Maria Gil, 67, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in McAllen. Mr. Gil was preceded in death by his daughter, Karla Gil.

Mr. Gil is survived by his wife, Maria Del Rosario Gil; four children, Ruben (Misty) Gil, Rafael (Cristina) Gil, Jose M. (Sylvia) Gil, Carlos A. Gil; son-in-law, Jesus Garcia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings, Rafael Gil Sarno, Carlota Gil Sarno, Guadalupe Zamora Sarno, and Josefina Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday October 8, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
