EDINBURG - Jose R. Jasso, 90 went to be with the our Lord, Friday, April 12, 2019, in Edinburg. Mr. Jasso was preceded in death by his parents, Eulalio and Apolonia Jasso.

Mr. Jasso is survived by his wife, Evelia Fernandez Jasso; three children, Javier Reyes (Cristina) Jasso, Celine Imelda (Joe) Gomez Jr., and Norma Linda (Albert) Trejo; eight grandchildren, Jerardo Reyes Jasso, Joaquin Reyes Jasso,Joel Reyes Jasso, Melissa (Calvin) Nelson, Adam(Samiha) Gomez, Anthony(Crystal) Gomez, Albert Trejo II, Danielle Nicole Trejo; three great-grandchildren; Camila Ann Nelson, Isaac Miles Nelson, Chace Anthony Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a 5 p.m. rosary, Saturday, April 20, 2019, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 22, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg.  Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
