MCALLEN - Jose Javier Salinas Ortiz, 55, entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his wife, Dora Salinas Ortiz; 4 siblings, Lauro L. Salinas, Demetrio Salinas Ortiz, Maria De La Luz Salinas and Orlando Guadalupe Salinas Ortiz; 6 nieces and nephews; numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
