Jose Adolfo Villarreal

EDINBURG- Jose Adolfo Villarreal, 83, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2026, in McAllen. Mr. Villarreal was preceded in death by his parents, Eustolio Villarreal, and Josefa DeLeon; two children, Jose Adolfo Villarreal Jr., and Alejandro Villarreal; three siblings, Orfilina Villarreal, Eustolio Villarreal Jr., and Armando Villarreal.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Adelina Perez Villarreal; six children, Carolina (Javier) Santiago, Sonya (Jacob) Sanchez, Elizabeth Ramirez, Branda (Craig) Sellman, Alejandra (Margarito) Luna, and Amanda (Eric) Saenz; eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; five siblings, Arnoldo Villarreal, Anna Maria Guerra, Arminda Salazar, Idolina O'Connell, and Eustolio Villarreal Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that attendees wear black or white for the service.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
