Juan Rivera Jr.

MCALLEN - Juan Rivera Jr., 53, was called home on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in McAllen. Mr. Rivera was preceded in death by his father, Juan Rivera. 

Mr. Rivera is survived by his wife, Imelda Rivera; four children, Dominique Rivera, Vanessa Ruiz, Samantha Rivera, and Emily Rivera; a grandson, Roman Ruiz; his mother, Amparo Rivera; three siblings, Maria Angelica Rivera, Pedro Rivera, and Jesus Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Celebration of Life service Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 at Legacy Chapels with a 10 a.m. funeral service at Sion Del Todo Poderoso in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
