Juan Jesus Tijerina

Penitas- Juan Jesus Tijerina, passed away on July 4, 2014 at McAllen Heart Hospital. He was born on June 12, 1945 in McAllen, Texas to Manuel and Eloisa Tijerina. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Rosalinda Vallejo. He is survived by his caring and devoted wife, Maria Luisa Sanchez of Penitas, Texas; children: Rene Tijerina (Maricela), Rolando Tijerina (Lupita De La Paz), Nelda Tijerina (Luis), Sonia Tijerina (Roberto) and Juan Tijerina; siblings: Carlos Tijerina, Ruben Tijerina, Manuel Tijerina, Jr., Roberto Tijerina, Amparo Garcia, Eudelia "Lela" Garcia, and Rosa Calzadiollas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with 7:00pm rosary at Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at a later date. Funeral Services are under the direction of Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg.
