Juanita De La Cruz

JUANITA DE LA CRUZ MCALLEN - Juanita De La Cruz, 79, entered eternal sleep Saturday, October 17, 2020, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Juanita was born on February 9, 1941, in Jaumave, Tamps., Mexico to Epifanio De La Cruz and Maria De Jesus Martinez. Juanita is survived by three siblings, Raul De La Cruz, Isidra De La Cruz, and San Juanita Barròn; twenty eight nephews and nieces. She was an active member of the Salvation Army, where she took pride in volunteering in the kitchen cooking and serving those in need of services. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Interment will take place in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
