Juanita Esparza

EDINBURG — Juanita Esparza, 76, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 23, 2026, in Edinburg. Ms. Esparza is preceded in death by her son, Samuel Mario Gonzalez; parents, Guadalupe Esparza and Paula Moreno; and two siblings, Samuel Esparza and Rita Esparza.

Ms. Esparza is survived by her four children: Margarita Silva (Juan M. Silva), Guadalupe Gonzalez Jr. (Letty J. Gonzalez), Rosalinda Silva (Juan Antonio Silva), and Veronica Dora Robledo; twenty one grandchildren: Amanda L. Garza, Laura E. Silva, Jacob R. Silva, Ashley N. Gonzalez-Orr, Aarron Gonzalez, Alejandra Ruiz, Angel Peralta, Alyssa E. Gonzalez, Samantha M. Gonzalez, Albert J. Gonzalez, Michael I. Gonzalez, Alyssa N. Guerra, Damion N. Guerra, Jorge Torres III, Kassandra Robledo, Anthony Robledo, Jesus Robledo, Christopher K. Silva, Mallorey T. Silva, and Michael M. Silva; thirteen great-grandchildren: Marcia P. Stroud, Sebastian Z. Elizondo, Sofia G. Elizondo, Connor Orr, Aaliyah Wright, Nahmir Berry, Noah Peralta, Archer J. Gonzalez, Jace C. Borrego, Mia Silva, Zachery T. Silva, Annalise Z. Salazar, and Marcus Salazar; three siblings: Dora Carrizales, Gracie Vaquera, and Edwardo Esparza; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 30, 20206, at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

On Friday, October 30, the family kindly invites everyone to wear purple, if possible, in honor and loving memory of their mother, Juanita Esparza.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
