Juanita S. Garcia

EDINBURG - Juanita S. Garcia, 77, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Edinburg. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Marcos Saucedo, and Margarita Vasquez; one child Juan Jose Garcia Jr.; one grandchild, Octavio Gomez.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her three children, Susana (Luke "Chilo") Gomez Herrera, Isabel (Gilberto) Munoz, and Raquel Garcia; thirteen grandchildren, Victor H. Gomez, Christopher Gomez, Anthony B. Gomez, Jennifer Salazar, Adrian Salazar, Abby De La Garza, Andy De La Garza, Karina Munoz, Stephanie A. Munoz, Emily M. Villarreal, Jesus G. Munoz, Yadira I. Munoz, and Mireya J. Briones; 27 great grandchildren; nine siblings, Guadalupe Lopez, Maria Compean, Jesus Saucedo, Jose M. Saucedo, Jose Saucedo, Francisco Saucedo, Lucita Orozco, Manuel Saucedo, and Elisa Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
