McAllen - Julia Gonzalez Soto, 86, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 18, 2023. Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Estanislao Gonzalez and Bartola Gonzalez; her husband, Santos Garza; 2 sisters, Lucia Esparza and Maria Declet; 2 brothers, Herminio Gonzalez and Ignacio Gonzalez.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her son, Gustavo Garza; daughter-in-law, Angelica Garza; 2 brothers, Alfredo Gonzalez and Mario Gonzalez.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Monday, September 25, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery and Mausoleum in McAllen.
