Leopoldo Gonzalez, Jr.

EDINBURG - Leopoldo Gonzalez, Jr., 59, went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 10, 2026, in Edinburg. Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his daughter, Leah Elizabeth Gonzalez; sibling, Orlando Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his; three children, Jonathan Lee Gonzalez, Laura Lynn (Rodrigo) Gonzalez Olivares, Leopoldo Gonzalez III.; three grandchildren, Renata Sofia Olivares, Valentin Emiliano Olivares, and Marcelo Emilio Olivares; parents, Leopoldo Gonzalez Sr., and Connie De La Cruz; four siblings, Sandra (Joe+) Moreno, Michelle Marichalar, Iris Rodriguez, and Olivia (Carlos) Rivera; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mcallen, Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
