Lilia Velasco

MCALLEN — Lilia Bolona Velasco, born on December 28, 1955 in the Philippines to Ricardo and Teresa Velasco, passed away on September 27, 2014 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Lilia was a registered nurse for many years. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by 11 siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will take place on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a prayer service beginning at 5:00pm at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. Immediately following the service, all are invited to a reception at Legacy Funeral Home. The family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home of Edinburg.
