Luciano "Chany" Salinas

EDINBURG - Luciano "Chany" Salinas, 63, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in McAllen. Mr. Salinas was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Luisa Salinas; a brother, Jorge Luis Salinas.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his four children, Luciano (Violeta) Salinas Jr., Nazario (Stephanie) Salinas, Lizandro (Valeria) Salinas, and Lizaldo Salinas; three grandchildren, Brisia A., Luciano III, and Sebastian; his father, Francisco Salinas; six siblings, Martha D. Rodriguez, Jose Conrado Salinas, Merced Luis Salinas, Guadalupe Salinas, Maria De Los Angeles Salinas, and Maria Noelia Solis; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday December 7, 2025, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
