MCALLEN - Manuela Mares, 90, entered eternal on Friday, November 15, 2024. Mrs. Mares is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas Mares and Benigna Sanchez; 1 son, Domingo Garcia.
Mrs. Mares is survived by her son, Rene Garcia; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p. m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
